Introduction
About
Woodbofin’s inspiration comes from a refreshing combination of pragmatism and inventiveness, derived from the resourcefulness and innovative twist that comes with island living.
Since childhood, Caimin Coyne’s love has been in working with wood, inspired by traditions of his native Inishbofin. Sail-making, boat-building and wood-working have long been synonymous with his island family. Woodbofin crafts, inspired by island living, are innovative and resourceful as well as quintessentially Irish.
Coming from a career in the aircraft industry, Caimin combines a breadth of skills to create meticulously constructed furniture that is for everyday use and built to last a lifetime.
